Globalization & the Workplace is a portal to documentation on the effects of globalization on workers and working conditions, labor relations, and social movements.
The site's main goal is to capture, preserve, and make available documentation that was created in digital format, especially if generated by underfunded organizations that use the Internet as their main tool for their activities. The documentation of these activities is thus in danger of being lost. Digital content is vulnerable and often becomes unavailable. The site captures it and stores it in a digital repository, thus ensuring that the content will remain available online and the links will not change. The site will add content as it becomes available online.
